Commentary
Bologna recorded a famous win in the Champions League and where did it come from? They entered the game with only two points in the competition but now they have jumped up to five but are unlikely to progress due to goal difference. They were behind thanks to a Guirassy penalty but that almost brought them back into life with Orsolini threatening until his injury, and it was his substitute that won the game. Two more switches put them level with Odgaard setting up Dallinga for a simple finish and less than a minute later Iling-Junior reacted quickest to poke in Kobel’s parried save. Dortmund have hit a horrible run of form and their xG of 0.97 to Bologna’s 1.92. It was a famous victory and one that doesn’t mean too much in the league phase but will do to the Italian fans in the stadium, as for Dortmund next week’s game against Shakhtar Donetsk is vital.

Ndoye could have sealed it. He shifts the ball onto his right foot just as he enters the box but drags his shot wide. It was a golden chance with the opportunity to pass it to Odgaard also on.
