Commentary
A two-goal lead within the first quarter-hour of the game isn’t enough for Fiorentina to take all three points, after Milan battled back to earn a 2-2 draw at San Siro. Thiaw’s unfortunate own goal opened proceedings after just seven minutes, and the visitors looked to hit early and often; doubling their lead 180 seconds later through Kean - who continued his good form and sits second in the Capocannoniere charts. Abraham pulled one back somewhat against the run of play to give Conceicao’s team something to build from shortly after, which, when coupled with Ranieri’s disallowed goal just before the interval, left the deficit at just one for the hosts with 45 minutes to play. The Rossoneri were much improved in the second period and equalised midway through the half via Jovic’s clever run and finish, but it looked to be all for naught after Dodo’s volley found the back of the net just ahead of added time. VAR would intervene for the second time to chalk off a Viola goal, which forced the two sides to share the spoils - with Milan leading the way in xG by 2.67 to 1.96. The result keeps the pair of teams as they were before the start of play today, with Fiorentina taking on Parma next weekend following a Conference League clash with Celje on Thursday, and Udinese next up for Milan. That concludes our commentary of the Serie A fixture between AC Milan and Fiorentina - we hope you’ve enjoyed it!

Felix takes the set-piece short to Reijnders, who looks to bring Chukwueze into play, but the Fiorentina defenders are quick to flood forward and close down the space - preventing Milan from testing De Gea from distance.
