Commentary
Ipswich have done it! They have picked up their first win of 2025 in the Premier League and it was a hard-fought but well-deserved three points despite xG swinging in Bournemouth’s favour 1.86 to 1.18. McKenna’s side feel to 12 points from safety after Wolves’ win last night, but as they muted Bournemouth’s attacking threat in the first half, they also produced a goal themselves. Ensico the provider with a mazy run, and Broadhead the punisher. It meant they went into the break with a lead, and they would add to it on the hour mark through Delap. It was another quality goal with the move starting with Palmer and ending with the forward smashing a shot past Kepa. Their first win would not come easy, as Evanilson was the quickest to react to Palmer’s spill to half the deficit but the Tractor Boys held on to close the gap to nine points from Wolves. Their next game? Wolves at home.

Kepa came up for the free-kick; it is always exciting but Ouattara was the man to meet the cross and he headed over. That will be the last kick of the game surely.
